New Accessibility Checker in Canvas

The Rich Content Editor Accessibility Checker assists instructors and course designers to maintain accessibility requirements in Canvas content. The Accessibility Checker is located in the Rich Content Editor menu bar. Depending on the size of the browser window, users may have to scroll the menu bar horizontally to view the Accessibility Checker icon.

UDOIT tool assesses your Canvas course for accessibility

The Universal Design Online Content Inspection Tool, or UDOIT (pronounced, “You Do It”), created by the University of Central Florida, enables faculty to identify accessibility issues in Canvas courses at CU Denver. This tool is part of an open source community, which allows the tool to be used here at CU Denver.
