His victory represents a major step on the road to qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, which is a lifetime dream of Kamran's.


The next year will prove critical to Kamran in achieving his academic dreamsKamran Madani with Gold Medal-1 as demands for training, travel, and competition increase exponentially. Additionally, he will enter his final academic year carrying a full-time course load. In order for Kamran to meet the demands of his sport and academics, he decided to switch from attending classes on campus to taking all online courses. Online options give him the flexibility to keep both dreams alive simultaneously.
