A bird's eye view: Highlights from the 2018 CU Online Symposium

Posted by Lynée Sanute on May 31, 2018 8:32:13 AM

Faculty, staff, and students enjoyed a beautiful and informative day at CU South Denver for CU Online’s 16th annual Spring Symposium - “Seeing the Forest and the Trees.” Ranger John was on hand for selfies and kept the local wildlife at bay.

Attendees engaged in a variety of sessions, discussing various educational practices including accessibility, inclusion, equity, and fun in the classroom.

There were also sessions abound with practical tips on implementing educational technologies (podcasting, TechSmith Relay, and Zoom were some of the highlights). The student panel in the afternoon was a hit and gave insight to the diverse student experiences in online classrooms.
