Did you get out to the CU Denver Block Party? It was a fun day of high-energy hijinks (and a bit of wind).
If you weren’t able to join in the festivities, here’s a little overview of what we did…
This year, we decked out the CU Online areas with lots of fun swag, a ping pong ball powered polling station, and icy treats to help beat the heat.
Our informal poll asked participants to tell us why they aren’t taking online classes. The poll was a perfect way to start conversations with students and set the stage for a low-stakes environment to discuss their barriers to online learning.
What is adaptive learning? What are adaptive learning systems?
How can they help us serve our students?
Register for The Future of Adaptive Learning and join us on Thursday, June 7th from 10-Noon at CU Online and learn more.
Dr. Karen Vignare from the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities will describe the current state of the technology and lead a discussion of adaptive learning systems and describe the work being done at the APLGU to demonstrate the efficacy and impact of these systems. She will describe the technologies and the pedagogies that promise to make ADL and curricular redesign as powerful tools supporting student success, particularly in large section courses.
Where are the big wins with ADL? What are the challenges? What’s coming soon? Get your questions answered and enjoy lunch with Karen!
The headline and subheader tells us what you're offering, and the form header closes the deal. Over here you can explain why your offer is so great it's worth filling out a form for.
