New Gradebook: Instructors are able to opt-in to a revised gradebook in Canvas. The new gradebook design is based on several years of instructor feedback and features new options for sorting, filtering, and organizing your course's grade information. To enable the feature, go to your course's settings and turn on "New Gradebook" in the Feature Options tab. TechSmith Relay Canvas Integration: The TechSmith Relay Canvas integration will be enabled in all courses starting in the Spring Semester. TechSmith Relay is the university's new video platform designed for desktop lecture capture, video hosting, and interactive quizzing. Updated Zoom Integration: While the official Zoom web conferencing tool has been deployed in Canvas for several months, we will be deprecating the legacy "Web Meeting" tool that was built several years ago before Zoom's official LTI tool. Going forward, instructors can use the Zoom integration to schedule web conferences and push notifications to students. Please note that our Zoom plan does not include cloud recordings, so the last part of this document should be ignored.
