I hate to break it to you though...

Taking online classes does not necessarily mean classes are going to be "easier" and it does not necessarily mean you'll "automatically do well".

Life is an endless swirl of days sneaking by coupled with triumphs and failures of all sizes. The days pass, errands get pushed off and then the days pass again. Disappointment and worry latch themselves onto the deep crevices of the mind as more items are added to the ever growing pile of things to do, causing a mass hysteria. Sound familiar? Sometimes when considering the plethora of options for the upcoming day, one can be overwhelmed and go into “freak out mode”, resulting in nothing getting done. In a word - feedback.

The Canvas midterm survey that is deployed six weeks into the semester, asked a few new questions this fall term.

In an effort to mirror the revised questions on the FCQ, the midterms offer an opportunity for faculty:

  • To get a snapshot of how there online course is progressing before final FCQs

  • To see if any modifications are necessary in their course and time to implement those changes.
